Blood, sweat, and tears have been mainstays of Mixed Martial Arts since the sport’s inception. In the modern era of MMA another staple has emerged: The Cage Model. One thing that you may not think about when you see Arianny Celeste (UFC Cage Model) or Kelli Hutcherson (Strikeforce Cage Model) is that MMA offers a huge platform for aspiring models to reach their personal and professional goals. Kristian Lee first stepped into the world of MMA modeling in January of 2011. Not long after that a friend saw a message on Facebook saying that Hardrock MMA was looking for models and Kristian jumped on the opportunity. Kristian has been strutting her stuff for Hardrock MMA since March of this year and she hopes the exposure will help her reach her goal of becoming a full-time model. Kristian has the brains to match her looks and she is currently studying nursing in her hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Kristian wants to make modeling her career, but be able to fall back on her RN degree later on down the road. When asked why CageCraze.com should feature her, Kristian responded, “I’m good at what I do and I love cage fighting. I’m a blonde with brains! What is better than that?” Kristian’s love of the sport sets her apart from many other models.

We asked Kristian what attracted her to modeling in the cage and she did not let us down with her enthusiasm:

“I love to watch the fights and I always have the best seat in the house being a Cage Model! GSP [Georges St.-Pierre] is the hottest fighter ever and [Anderson] Silva is amazing! I love the UFC and hopefully one day I’ll be a Cage Model and get front-row seats to watch GSP & Silva!”

When Kristian is not modeling in the cage she is engaging in high-octane fun. She tells us that she loves riding horses but she loves riding motorcycles more: “I’m a ride-or-die GSXR girl!” Kristian also enjoys working on and racing Ford Mustangs, a trait she picked up in her Advanced Auto Mechanics class in High School.
